The Ultimate Ski Bunny Party - Tommy Africas, Whistler

Get ready to kick off the Telus Festival with the sexiest party of the season!

THE ULTIMATE SKI BUNNY PARTY @ Tommy Africas on Wednesday, APRIL 11th.

The doors will open @ 9pm with complimentary bunny ears to the first 100 ladies. The catwalk will be open to any of the bunnies who wish to strut or hop their way to the $250 cash prize and win a featured month in the upcoming 2013 local swimsuit calendar.

Do you think you are The ULTIMATE Ski Bunny?

Hot Dogs will be available throughout the evening by Whistler's newest biz - Dinky Dawgs.

GENTLEMEN! You are encouraged to wear your best turtleneck and/or 80's ski attire. The best ensemble of the evening will win a bar tab and more! You are also required to cheer loudly for who you think will best represent Whister's 2013 Ultimate Ski Bunny!

Special Guest MC for the evening is Miss Tia Stonier!

Music for the evening will be DJ Chili Thom and Tim Livingston throwing down some high energy beats and some influence of the old school days!

Movember in Whistler

What is Movember?

Movember is the month formerly known as November, where men and women across the globe join together raise awareness and funds for men's health issues. Men grow a Mo (moustache) for 30 days to become walking, talking billboards, for our men's health causes - specifically prostate cancer.

Mo Bros start Movember 1st clean shaven. Mo Sistas (the ladies) also start by registering at Movember.com though growing a Mo is not necessary.

Mo Bros grow and groom their Mo, for the rest of the month...raising brows and spreading the important message thoughout the community about men's health along the way. Mo Sistas champion the Mo by supporting their Mo Bros, organizing events, leading a team.

NOV 17, THR - Tommy Africa's presents MISS MOVEMBER

The Sexy and lovely MoSista's of Whistler Exposed are putting a spin on the traditional models search with airbrushed mustaches for their walk down the runway. MISS MOVEMBER is open to any lady that wishes to enter in hopes of taking home a brand new snowboard! Although lingerie and bikinis are encouraged they are not mandatory. All hopeful contestants are asked a few questions regarding their favorite mustache story and/or affiliation with the Movember cause. Sport your stash and snatch some swag in this LUMBER JACK THEMED party! Tones of sexy fun!

Whistler Exposed Bikini Calendar Launch Party 2012

A collection of snap shots during the evening by local photographer Joern Rohde. The annual event presented by Finlandia Vodka and Southern Comfort Liqour was the most talked about show in town. Tommy Africas Night Club hosted the party to a full house which included emcees "Mr. Whister" Brendon King and his runner-up Patrick Frebourg of who introduced the 2012 calendar girl line up and special performance by World Pole Dance champion - Justice. It's fair to say that everyone's jaws were dropped with her flawless and incredibly athletic moves. Each model was gifted a framed print of their individual shot from the calendar and everyone danced the night away in high style and great music by DJ Mike Grefner.

Mr. Whistler Exposed - Casting for Limited Edition Mens Calendar

Due to popular demand, The Whistler Exposed Calendar will be branching out and producing a limited edition run for an upcoming project featuring the Men of Whistler.

In conjunction with the upcoming ever popular Search For Miss Whistler (to be held at Tommy Africas one week after on August 26), we are looking for the top Whistler males to be featured in this calendar.

As this is a casting search for models, one lucky man will be given the title of MR. WHISTLER 2011/12 and will be given a trophy, $350 cash and a Texas Mickey of Jack Daniels.

Mr. Whistler should be athletic, fun, adventurous, and charming.

All Mr. Whistler hopefuls will be required to answer a general trivia question about the resort town, and will be able to have a one minute talent section in which they can showcase themselves to the audience and local celebrity judging panel.
Mr. Whistler will also require a "shirts off" section of the show.

DJ's for the evening will be Fidel Cashflow & Mike Grefner

The calendar and evening take part as a fundraiser for Canadian Spinal Cord Research.

Gentlemen - if you want to be a part of the upcoming calendar you must attend this evening for your opportunity.
Ladies - If you know someone who should take part in this please encourage them to participate

The Search for Miss Whistler 2011/2012

The most elite and talked about bikini show of the year happens Friday, August 26 @ Tommy Africas Night Club!

The Whistler Exposed Calendar & Tommy Africas will present 'The Search for Miss Whistler 2011/2012'.

Miss Whistler is the ultimate mountain beauty of our town. She is confident, athletic, driven, and proud to be a part of the community. Miss Whistler will encompass some responsibilities to be present at a few various events throughout the year, many of which are paid promotions and all of which are FUN!

Past recipients of the title have included:

Virginia Smith - 06/07
Melanie Belanger - 07/08
Sarah Sia-Cavalcanti- 08/09
Amanda Jane Heiress - 09/10
Kelly Hitchcock - 10/11

Our current Miss Whistler is ready to pass on the title and will be crowning the winner who will also receive a grand prize of $500 cash, a makeover @ L'Atelier Hair Boutique in Vancouver, and a photo shoot with renowned photographer Erich Saide.

Second Place takes $300 cash and Third Place $200 cash

All hopeful contestants will be asked to strut the catwalk in two outfits. The first outfit is anything ski bunny inspired (winter wear theme), and the second outfit is personal choice of either a bikini or lingerie.

The judging criteria is based on:

Answering a simple and general trivia question about the resort town
Beauty & Stage Presence
Audience Feedback

This is a fun night for everyone and always a packed house event! All hopefuls will need to be present to sign up no later than 10:30 pm.

The evening is in support of Spinal Cord Research. DJ Fidel Cashflow and Mike Grefner will be in house.

The Beach Party Fashion Show & Slip'n Slide Summer Night

Dead Season is now over and the weather has finally turned so it's time to have a kick off Beach Party!

Tommy Africas will be the hot spot of the night on Friday, June 10 as The BEACH Apparel store will be sponsoring the evening and showcasing a fashion show featuring the latest women's and mens styles of the summer. Show starts early!

After the fashion show is over the fun will continue and get rowdy with the ultimate body oil slip n slide contest with the winner (best style) taking home the Ultimate Party Raft (complete with MP3) valued at $500 - Anyone can enter as long as they are in swimwear!

The Search for Miss Whistler 2010/2011

Full house and massive line up, this annual event Held @ Tommy Africas Night Club exceeded everyone's expectations. The exclusive Search for Miss Whistler 2010/2011 had its top local ladies compete for the grand title and crowned this year's winner Kelly Hitchcock with second place going to Andreann Lamoureux and third place to Jocelyn Connelly.

Miss Whistler received a grand prize of $500 cash, a portfolio package with Karolina Turek Photography valued @ $1000.00, and was given the helicopter shoot featured on the back cover of the 2011 calendar.

Amazing donations from Canadian Snowmobile Adventures, Prior Snowboards, Razzmatazz Hair Salon, EcoChic Spa, Wedge Rafting, Trattoria Restaurant, Rics Grill Steakhouse and The Mixx Grill, Dr. Zipe Goggles, and The BC Lions.

Special Guest judges for the night included NHL superstar Shaone Morrisonn from The Buffalo Sabres and 2010 Olympic Gold Medalist Jon Montgomery.
